Why We Dabke
We embody our heritage and dance dabke to celebrate our culture, showcase it to the world, and make sure we own our narrative. We dance to combat erasure by resisting censorship, creating safe spaces, building community through joy and activism, and teaching the significance of dabke as part of our identities and expression.

Léman Manhattan School
Thank you for gracing us with such an intentional and moving performance. Your energy, unity, and pride lit up the spaces—and it was more than just a dance. It was a celebration of culture, strength, community and sisterhood. Watching you move with such confidence and purpose, especially with our elementary students, was not only inspiring, it was empowering. You reminded us all of the beauty in tradition and the power that everyone holds when we come together in joy, in rhythm, and in appreciation of our uniquenesses. Thank you for sharing your light with us. We see you, we celebrate you, and we’re so grateful.
Coming Soon: Dabke Meets Gogo
We are so excited to present a sneak peak of a very special collaborative project entitled “Overcoming Speechlessness” with the amazing Crazylegz and crew. Our movements are undeniably linked and we need to come together to spread the message of justice from DC to Palestine.
